Well, it is time for me to move completely to Wordpress, even though the design there sucks. I won't be leaving Vox entirely, think of it as where I won't post everything here. I'll still use Vox for the friends here, and I'll still use the storage for videos and pictures. Also expect just random crap here, I'll post here when I'm bored, or when I just feel to post here. I really hope Vox lets you soon use your own website as the address for the Vox Blog, and I hope they release the theme I am currently using for someplace like Wordpress.
Wow is right, most of my Vox neighborhood friends have left Vox or hasn't even posted in a while. I still enjoy using Vox over Wordpress right now because of the community and the way Vox is designed. I like the colors and how everything looks "Web 2.0ish". Hopefully people still use Vox.
I guess after Leo Laporte left Vox, everyone followed suit.
Shame really.
Well, I've convinced myself to make this My 80% personal blog and 20% tech blog and make my Wordpress blog a Tech blog for 80% of the time and 20% personal. So I'll post the tech post on Wordpress and then a day later on here, and that backwards on Wordpress for my Personal postings.
Solved.

Yes Vox, I've cheated on you. I'm sorry. What am I sorry about? Well I'm bringing my Wordpress blog back from the dead. I like wordpress and all, and I want to keep less than three blogs, so It's between Tumblr, Vox and Wordpress. I currently use Vox for everything, heck I wanted to get one when it was going to be first released, and I became a beta tester and I love it. Wordpress on the other hand is bloated, paid to get the best features and other things which I hate. Sure you can design one from your own template in CSS, but it costs money. If I wanted to pay for something then I would use one of Six Aparts paid to get service. I don't want to leave Vox, I feel like it will be the next Blogger, with some time and effort that is.
I'm considering making my wordpress blog my technological blog, but if I wanted to post pictures or even post a lot of words, I would have to do it in their gaudy interface, which have you ever looked at it? Vox is the service where if you need to post something, oh boy can you do it quickly. Take a screen shot in OS X, open up Firefox, go to Vox, go to "Compose Post" and then upload it. Wordpress has you log in, go to dashboard, go to write, then make a post, upload it after 5 minutes, publish, then you go to that new post.
What should I do? WordPress for write-ups and such and reviews and Vox for some reviews and personal?
What do you think?

So yeah..on August 5th, 2006 I signed up for vox and I posted my first post on here. It wasn't my first blog, oh no. It is my general blog and will be until I finally get my Drupal site up (http://ZayneHumphrey.com/ which is my Tumblr blog as we speak), and I will link to this blog and my other few blogs I can find. So happy birthday ZayneHumphrey.vox.com.
My design was the San Francisco skyline and I will switch to it right now. Just until Saturday..
The first post (Wow this sucks):
Well I am finally on Vox. I used to have a Typepad blog, but I canceled it. After messing around with the features here on Vox. it's clearly ahead of it's time..which is a great thing. Right now I'm typing on my new Macbook Pro, which is only for office use, and word documents.I'm going to go to Leo Laporte's blog and comment on a few posts of his.
Thanks LongLiveTechtv.
Wow, I had to edit that so that it would make sense (I used to drink at least 3 times a week, before I was married and it showed in many of my posts).
Apple Keynote follow up will come from me today..after I get home..
This is a blog post about photos of my cats. And you might be wondering why I wasn't doing a lot on line..or anything at all, well I had hidden Kacie's new Pre-Birthday present in Stephen's garage and I took a photo of the Airbag warning. Kacie really loves her new PT Cruiser. Its purple..her favorite color.
Have a nice Sunday!
Your master of the weird, idiotic and just plain wrong is back. And Vox is launching tomorrow, so I guess thats why the interface has changed. And I can't wait, so I can get more people to vox..but now what is GoTechGeeks going to give away at launch...we have all of these Ubuntu disks...and these Vista disks and parts of two computers and a G3 iMac and so I guess we need to think of something new to give away..damnit.
But is digg going to sell out? This article thinks so: http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/10/24/digg-does-the-acquisition-dance-with-news-corp/?
But these guys think otherwise:
http://hmtk.com/blog/index.php?/archives/95-Is-Kevin-rose-Digging-for-a-buyer.html
But who knows, we all know digg in 05 had a little story about yahoo buying them..and with Google getting YouTube News(Which owns the craptastic Faux News channel with Tad Baxter's Factor show) corp would only win by getting Digg's 85% Democratic userbase and making their cronies go and make the percent of Democrats (Myself included) lower with the spam bots and crapiganda from Bill O'really. And I know, and hope Kevin and Jay will not sell out, much like Paul Allen selling Techtv to Comcast. If Digg is bought by Google or Yahoo, that would be good, Apple or Microsoft would be too bad..but its like Apple already owns digg, and if Microsoft buys it more Zune and Vista ads and the addition of Mircrosoft news (Security) would be added. But I hope it is not Time Warner, Comcast, AT&T or New Corp buys it. Hell isn't Digg by the people for the people and the 25% of the top 30 users that run digg..not some Bush/GOP ass kissing corperation that owns it...let alone people that agree with the idiotic statement "The internet is a Series of tubes" running the fastest growing site on the web and the site that inspired GoTechGeeks to make the site like it (But not like it in the system).
My rant is over. Have a nice day.And expect this to be like what I write on the site..with out the errors because this isn't edited, unlike the stories on the site..
