Well, it is time for me to move completely to Wordpress, even though the design there sucks. I won't be leaving Vox entirely, think of it as where I won't post everything here. I'll still use Vox for the friends here, and I'll still use the storage for videos and pictures. Also expect just random crap here, I'll post here when I'm bored, or when I just feel to post here. I really hope Vox lets you soon use your own website as the address for the Vox Blog, and I hope they release the theme I am currently using for someplace like Wordpress.

Oh fuck! It's motherfucking cold! Fuck!

I don't think I've ever said fuck so much in a topic before! Fucking Fuck yes! Now since that fuckfest is over, lets get to another post to Vox and then try to find something I can talk about on my Wordpress blog.

So, this is about the current weather in my area recently. Well lets describe my morning shall we?

Wake up
Put on robe
find that Kacie has already gotten up
get a bowl of oatmeal with frozen milk (it was solid milk, because of the temperature!)
brush teeth
get dressed
bother Kacie
bother Kacie again
Get my Macbook Pro, iPhone and iPod Touch and get outside
Freeze my ass off outside scraping the frost off of my windshield
freeze my fingers opening the doors
get in my frozen car
wait 2 minutes for it to warm up
Go

Yes, that, in a sense, is my morning. Notice anything that is a constant? Yes, there is one. It's called: ITS FUCKING COLD! I mean, I've been in bad storms before, but today actually has made me freeze, and I don't shiver unless it's around 10 degrees. Seriously, nature is fucked up, and she's taking it out all on me.

Getting tired of 02467

And for the zip code freaks out there, you might know that "02467" is Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. I've been here for about 10 years now, and I am getting tired of it. I thought I would like moving closer to Boston, or really, to be away from the crappiest state of them all. Ohio.

Yet, I really want to move somewhere that suits my taste. I want to be around the environment of technology, namely, Silicon Valley. You all know I love San Francisco. What isn't there to like? Tech, The Golden Gate, the culture, and well, the Golden Gate Bridge. The only thing I might not like if I can even go, or even move to San Francisco is, well, the California kids (Myspace/MTV LOLZERS) and the Govenatorswazenhegenponiegirlymanmoron, Arnold Scwhrazwfkjdsnhabcdefghidontknowhowtospellit.

Anyway, I'm tried of Massachusetts, and Boston in general. Sure, the beer was great, but I don't drink that much anymore (Only when I'm working on a netcast or a episode of Damnednation)

Wow is right, most of my Vox neighborhood friends have left Vox or hasn't even posted in a while. I still enjoy using Vox over Wordpress right now because of the community and the way Vox is designed. I like the colors and how everything looks "Web 2.0ish". Hopefully people still use Vox.

I guess after Leo Laporte left Vox, everyone followed suit.

Shame really.

Judging by the title, you might think I've gone rampant. Well that was waaay back in 1994. But back on topic I haven't posted on here a lot because of my laziness. Well, this will be my personal blog and my wordpress blog will be my technological news site. I have been wanting to make my wordpress blog my all-in-one blog, but I'd miss Vox too much and the people and the design.
Lately I've been starting to get healthier and eating more vegetables and less soda and really cutting down my alcohol intake to around twice a month. So soon I'll be one of those snoody health enthusiasts! Look forward to that folks! This is all you'll be getting from me because I am pretty much tired right now and I don't have anything else to do or talk about.

Well, I've convinced myself to make this My 80% personal blog and 20% tech blog and make my Wordpress blog a Tech blog for 80% of the time and 20% personal. So I'll post the tech post on Wordpress and then a day later on here, and that backwards on Wordpress for my Personal postings.

In accordance to this PR article made by Apple Inc., they've sold their one millionth iPhone. So congrats to them!

So it looks like Apple is on track for ten million iPhones sold by the end of 2008. Hopefully by then, all of the haters will be quiet and realize that the iPhone is not just full of hype.

In other iPhone news, it looks like that people are actually complaining of the $200 off from the iPhone. Now I could understand that if you just bought it a week before it was announced, then yeah, I could understand you could be angry, but the people that are complaining that you were ripped off when you bought it at launch, then..well, you should have expected the price drop around holiday season. I did, even when I bought two. One for my wife, and one for myself. Steve Jobs said it the best and correct way he should have said it.

"Second, being in technology for 30+ years I can attest to the fact that the technology road is bumpy. There is always change and improvement, and there is always someone who bought a product before a particular cutoff date and misses the new price or the new operating system or the new whatever. This is life in the technology lane. If you always wait for the next price cut or to buy the new improved model, you'll never buy any technology product because there is always something better and less expensive on the horizon. The good news is that if you buy products from companies that support them well, like Apple tries to do, you will receive years of useful and satisfying service from them even as newer models are introduced."

There is an example of why we love/hate Steve Jobs. He can be nice to be around at one point, and then become snarky but still come off as a nice guy (Except for in the early days of Apple, when he would just flip out, which I was back when I was younger, and I still am to this day.)

But iWhiners, you'll be getting $100 at Apple Stores and on the Online store. Meaning Leopard will be $29, or a free Shuffle or a very cheap Nano, but no, you still complain. Don't you understand that other companies wouldn't even offer $25, let alone $100! Apple is giving half of your money back, which is a great point for consumers, and for them.

But better off for me since I'll be getting $200 back, meaning if Leopard comes in a family pack like iLife/iWork 08', I'll be getting a family pack of Leopard.

Oh Vox, How I've cheated on you.

Yes Vox, I've cheated on you. I'm sorry. What am I sorry about? Well I'm bringing my Wordpress blog back from the dead. I like wordpress and all, and I want to keep less than three blogs, so It's between Tumblr, Vox and Wordpress. I currently use Vox for everything, heck I wanted to get one when it was going to be first released, and I became a beta tester and I love it. Wordpress on the other hand is bloated, paid to get the best features and other things which I hate. Sure you can design one from your own template in CSS, but it costs money. If I wanted to pay for something then I would use one of Six Aparts paid to get service. I don't want to leave Vox, I feel like it will be the next Blogger, with some time and effort that is.

I'm considering making my wordpress blog my technological blog, but if I wanted to post pictures or even post a lot of words, I would have to do it in their gaudy interface, which have you ever looked at it? Vox is the service where if you need to post something, oh boy can you do it quickly. Take a screen shot in OS X, open up Firefox, go to Vox, go to "Compose Post" and then upload it. Wordpress has you log in, go to dashboard, go to write, then make a post, upload it after 5 minutes, publish, then you go to that new post.

What should I do? WordPress for write-ups and such and reviews and Vox for some reviews and personal?
