Is twitter the next Myspace?
There's always some new social networking website trying to become the next Myspace, and yet they fail, but there is one that might actually become the next Myspace, Twitter.
As you probably know Twitter is a social networking site which lets it's users post updates about what they are doing, kinda like a mini-blog or Instant Message. Even as we speak there are probably about thousands of updates being added to the site, and it is picking up pace through mainstream websites and media outlets, and soon someone from Myspace will hear about it at work or school, the later with about 3/4th of them, and they will post a "bulletin" on their page for their friends to see then it will spread out and more users will migrate to the site, meaning that possibly by the end of 2007 onto the first part of 2008 Twitter will get more and more users, making it the "new" Myspace. Yet some people see this never happening and Twitter going out with a Tweet, but more and more people are going to it through blogs and online news as I stated before, then people that have a Myspace and use sites like CNet or Digg will learn about it and post about it.
So there you have it, I predict that in the next few months that "Myspacers" will learn about Twitter, and move on to it if Myspace keeps on screwing up, so if you have a Twitter expect to have your friends on Myspace come over to you. If you don't already have a Twitter sign up for one now, and tell your friends about it.
